We just bought a 98 Elite V Drive and have been trying to "tweek" the wake all spring. The wakes are decent for wakeboarding and fair for wakesurfing. Our ballast only hits' 700 on the back and 400 in the locker, but I put another 160 of lead in the rear last week. So far put 32 hours on it since 2nd week of April. WE boat a lot.
I'm a beginner, and my boat buddy is more advanced, but we're always looking for others to learn from.
If you need a pull, out from Pier 121, give me a shout. I'm always available and weekdays are best.
We're slipped too, so it's a no brainer to pop over and go. (edit: we have a rocking stereo, that pic is before we put the pokes up top)
Bring your own board and drink, or pitch in on gas... that's all we ask. We have 1 adult board, w great bindings, 1 youth and a wakeskate.
